SEPANG : The puddle of water at the skybridge of Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) yesterday was due to gutter clogging.
The problem has since been resolved.
Malaysia Airports tweeted last night "Dear @tonyfernandes, the wet floor at the skybridge due to gutter clogging has been rectified. #klia2."
Yesterday, AirAsia group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes shared an image of a section of the airport covered in a pool of water on his official Twitter account.
“Flood in klia2. Hmm,” said Fernandes through his account @tonyfernandes.
The image has received over 1,000 retweets so far and garnered various reactions from netizens.
An MAHB spokesman said it was uncertain if the water was rainwater or pipe water.
"Our cleaners have cleaned and wiped the floor, and business run as usual," she said.
