KUALA LUMPUR: An elderly traveller collapsed at the international arrival area of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 while waiting for immigration clearance yesterday morning (Oct 15).
The Imigresen KLIA Facebook page uploaded a video about the incident today (Oct 16).
The post said Immigration officer Saiful Fadzli provided the traveller with a wheelchair as they waited for the paramedic team to arrive to provide emergency treatment.
In the video, the elderly traveller was seated in a wheelchair and surrounded by officers.
The post said Saiful accompanied the traveller to Menara Medical Centre for checks.
"Thank you to all parties who acted fast and ensured the safety of travellers," the post said.
"This swift response proves that our officers are always ready to handle any situation."
