KUALA LUMPUR: LEE Chong Wei bagged his third consecutive Super Series title today by winning the Hong Kong Open.
Chong Wei - who won the French Open (October) and China Open last week - yesterday defeated China’s Tian Houwei 21-16, 21-15 at the Hong Kong Colliseum.
The title is also Chong Wei’s fifth this year since returning in May following an eight-month doping ban.
He had won the US and Canada Opens in June.
Chong Wei, who is now ranked No 6 in the world will be playing in the Macau Open that starts on Tuesday, next.
