KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning actress Nabila Huda Suhaimi will tie the knot on Friday at the Sultan Salehuddin Abdul Aziz Shah mosque in Shah Alam.
This was confirmed by her father, legendary rock singer Suhaimi Abdul Rahman or Amy Search when met at the launch of Cahaya Jiwa at Istana Budaya today.
Nabila, 31, is set to marry a successful restaurant owner and manager, whom she has known for more than a couple of years.
“I have been informed by Abil (Nabila) that the solemnisation ceremony will be held on Dec 25 at 9am, in Shah Alam. God willing, I will be there,” said Amy.
“Abil has introduced her future husband to me and we have met up several times before. I am very happy for my daughter and hopefully she will find the happiness she has been looking for. She has my blessings,” said the 57-year-old singer.
Recently, Nabila told reporters of her impending marriage, but no date was given.
This will be Nabila’s second marriage.
She was previously married to Zaidy Zailani in 2008 for three years and has a daughter, Keisha Laila, 5, from the union. They were divorced in 2011.
