KOTA KINABALU: Another dead turtle was found this morning, the second this week after the one discovered at Sipitang three days ago.
The turtle washed ashore at Gaya Island here, about fifteen minutes' by boat from the city, and was discovered by the staff of the Gaya Island Resort turtle rescue centre.
"There was no visible signs of external damage. For now, we suspect that it was due to either a fish bomb or it having consumed plastic or rubbish,” said Scott Maybank, the marine biologist overseeing the centre.
