KUALA LUMPUR: Residents in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya will face water disruption from March 29 to March 30 due to upgrading works.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement said the 20-hour disruption is due to upgrading of equipment and would commence at 6am (March 29) until 2pm (March 30)
Syabas head of corporate communication Amin Lin Abdullah said normal service would resume between 8 and 72 hours in various locations depending on the distance from water reservoir.
Among the 118 areas affected are KL Sentral, Brickfields, Bangsar, Lucky Garden, Mid Valley, Pantai Hospital, Bukit Bandaraya, Section 16, 17, 17A, 12, and Kampung Kerinchi, among others.
