Ragad makes heads turn at polling centre

KUCHING: Heads were turned at the Sekolah Menengah Tun Abang Haji Openg when Toh Puan Ragad Kurdi Taib arrived to cast her ballot for the Sarawak state election here today.

The wife of Sarawak Governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud was a picture of elegance as she made her way to the voting booth, and exchanged pleasantries with other voters.

Ragad, a second-time voter, however jokingly told election workers that she had forgotten whether she should tick or cross her ballot paper.

She later mingled with the other voters and entertained their requests for selfies before leaving the centre.
