KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 22 property experts will share their expertise with the public during the second MyRumah Property Showcase, set to take place at Komtar JBCC from July 29 to 31 in Johor Baru.
The showcase, a collaboration between the New Straits Times Press Bhd (NSTP) and Andaman Group, is expected to draw more than 2,000 visitors.
NSTP advertisement general manager Jeannie Leong said the event is targeted at first-time home buyers as well as investors looking to acquire affordable properties.
"Although there are many property showcases in the market, MyRumah caters especially for first-time home buyers and property investors; it will centre around affordable properties priced below RM500,000.
"MyRumah not only offers potential property investments, but we are also providing property education to the public with the 22 speakers, who will cover the whole ecosystem of property," she said during the event’s second press conference yesterday.
At the press conference, Andaman Group managing director Datuk Seri Dr Vincent Tiew introduced six of the 22 speakers, namely Faiket Luari, Ronald Pua, Dr Daniele Gambero, Kenny Hoo, Khalil Adis and Max Shangkar.
"The difference between the MyRumah Property Showcase and the rest is that not only will the speakers touch on property-related topics, but there will also be subjects such as the potential growth of properties in Johor Baru.
"Apart from that, we will also be giving out Ice Watches to 28 lucky draw winners. Those who place property bookings during the showcase will also be entitled to a grand lucky draw prize of a two-person trip to Gold Coast Australia for five days and four nights worth RM10,000," he said.
