PETALING JAYA: Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd will open an additional six petrol stations in the country by year-end.
The company currently has 570 petrol stations in Malaysia, with 50 of those located in Sabah.
The company is planning to enter the Sarawak market in the near future, but Petron Malaysia head of retail business Faridah Ali declined to give a timeline.
She was speaking to the media on the sidelines of the company's immensely popular Vision Petron 2016 Award ceremony here today.
The Vision Petron 2016 Award is an art competition for the fields of painting, photography and videography for college and university students in Malaysia.
The winners' works are being exhibited at Ikano Power Centre shopping mall for a week, starting today.
