JOHOR BARU: Police have received two police reports against a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer who had allegedly abused his wife.
Johor police chief Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said a Facebook post of the man's alleged crime had gone viral on social media.
The suspect, who is being investigated for a drug-related case in 2015, and is said to have stopped turning up for work at the Segamat branch of the MACC, was also alleged to have forced his wife to perform lewd sexual acts on their son by threatening her with a parang.
The case will be investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation as well as
Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 18(1) of the Domestic Violence Act 1994 for causing hurt.
"We are now looking for the suspect," Wan Ahmad Najmuddin said.
