GEORGE TOWN: The Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway here is now open to traffic as police have concluded ballistic testing on the site of a shooting incident which took place last Thursday.
A portion of the expressway was closed at 10.30am this morning to facilitate police investigations.
At 2pm, police opened up the stretch from the Jalan Ahmad Nor junction to the Bayan Lepas exit. By 4pm, police opened up the road to traffic heading to Penang Bridge.
Earlier, a forensic team was seen taking pictures and mapping the area using a 3D camera, laser and scanner.
The team was also seen using its canine unit to sniff out the area for more evidence.
Last Thursday, three were shot dead and five others injured in when a bodyguard opened fire on his employer.
