SHAH ALAM: For the second time in as many weeks, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad made an appearance at an Opposition party's national convention.
The former premier arrived at the Shah Alam Convention Centre here at 9am today for Parti Amanah Negara's (PAN) two-day national convention.
Dr Mahathir was seated next to PAN president Mohamad Sabu.
Also in attendance were top Opposition leaders such as DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang, DAP national vice-chairman Teresa Kok, DAP political education director Liew Chin Tong as well as PKR vice-presidents Rafizi Ramli and Nurul Izzah Anwar.
Others present include Bersih 2.0 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah and former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim.
Just last Sunday, Dr Mahathir made a surprise appearance at the DAP's national convention.
