KUALA LUMPUR: Mark your calendars, Team Super! Lilly Singh aka ‘Superwoman’ is set to meet her fans here in Kuala Lumpur as part of her ‘How to be a Bawse’ book tour.
One of YouTube’s biggest stars with 11.1 million subscribers on her channel, ||Superwoman||, Lilly will be entertaining her fans on May 23 at the Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre at 8pm.
Hosted by PR Worldwide Sdn Bhd, the tour will bring Lilly’s debut book, ‘How to be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life’, to life, promising a showcase of humour and motivational talk.
In the book, which will go on sale on March 28, Lilly shows how everyone can become a bawse - a person who exudes confidence and reaches goals.
“I am so thrilled to write my first book and share, all in one place, what I’ve learned about achieving success and happiness.
“This journey has taught me to always pick yourself up, not allow anything to stand in your way and that the only secret to achieving your dreams is hard work,” she said on lillysinghbook.com.
In Lilly’s world, there is not shortcut to success.
Told in her hilarious and bold voice, it is packed with photos and stories from her own life.
The book also comes with a message that reads: “This book is not a survival guide filled with hopeful thoughts, lucky charms or fluffy quotes.
“There will be no secret schemes to a rewarding life found in these pages. That’s because success, happiness and everything else that feels great in life have no escalators. There are only stairs.”
Lilly has reached global success and amassed more than 11.1 million subscribers through her signature brand of observational comedy and inspirational YouTube videos, where she covers topics ranging from everyday issues to relationship problems.
