KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor FC hosted a nearly four-hour long townhall with over 150 fans, including representatives from various supporters' clubs early this week in an effort to address their concerns.
The disgruntled fans were given the opportunity to discuss with the club's chief executive officer, Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon and other officials.
However, the outcome left many supporters dissatisfied as many continued to criticise the Selangor FC management on social media.
When asked, Johan said he was unsure why the fans remained unhappy despite the club's efforts to provide clarity.
"I think it's better (for the media) to ask the fans themselves because it's not for me to answer. The fans might have a clearer idea of what they're unhappy about, that's the only answer I can give," said Johan during the launch of Selangor's partnership with G-Shock at the MBPJ Stadium on Sunday.
"We provided clarification and answered most of the questions raised during the townhall, which lasted until almost 1a.m."
