SEREMBAN: A 30-year-old man was injured when a tree fell on his car as he was driving along Jalan Tunku Kurshiah near Sekolah Agama Haji Said yesterday evening.
In the 5pm incident, the victim was driving by the area in his Kia Spectra when a tree fell and crushed the vehicle.
Seremban Fire and Rescue Department chief operating officer K. Putthisigamany said the department received an emergency call at 5.38pm and eight firemen were dispatched to the scene, five minutes later.
“The victim, who was on his way back home from work, suffered light injuries in the incident. Firemen managed to safely free the man, who was then sent to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital for further treatment,” he said.
