LABUAN: A vegetable seller ended up dead after trying to collect a RM500 debt from a friend yesterday.

The victim identified as Yahudin Sahib, 54, from Indonesia was found lying face down with wounds on his face after being hit with a hard object.

It was learnt that the victim had gone to meet his friend at a house in Kampung Tanjung Aru here to collect the debt and a heated argument ensued.
