TAIPING: A married couple escaped unhurt when a man fired a gun in the direction of their house in Taman Simpang Murni, Simpang near here last night.
The gunman escaped on a motorcycle in the 9.50pm incident.
The bullet shattered the house’s glass sliding door before it struck a cupboard in the living room, said Taiping police chief ACP Harith Kam Abdullah.
“The 60-year-old contractor and his wife heard the sound of shattering glass before they saw the gunman riding away,” Harith said in a statement here today. -- BERNAMA
