KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 176 bullets were found scattered on a road at Batu 14 near a dumpsite in Hulu Langat on Sunday.
Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yusof said police recovered the 9mm bullets after they were notified by a 38-year old man who found the bullets at 9.10am.
“The man was cycling from Batu 18 to Ampang when he saw the bullets scattered on the road shoulder.
“There is no shooting range near the area. Police have yet to received reports from anyone on missing ammunition,” he said.
Dzaffir said the SME 8-02 type bullets were sent to Selangor police headquarters for authentication and testing.
