KUALA LUMPUR: Two Bukit Aman's Special Task Force for Anti-vice, Gaming and Gangsterism (STAGG) officers have been remanded for four days following the seizure of cash amounting to more than RM1.5 million on May 31.
MACC deputy chief commissioner (Operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki confirmed the matter when contacted by Bernama.
The graft busters detained the two officers, with the ranks of Assistant Commissioner (ACP) and Assistant Superintendent (ASP), at an automobile workshop in Subang Jaya around 1pm and seized RM341,000 in cash.
The arrest led to seizure of more cash and a number of luxury cars at the condominium of a suspect and at the STAGG office at Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre. -- BERNAMA
