BACHOK: Police have identified two of the three suspects who had allegedly slashed a man over a missing prized magpie robin yesterday.
Bachok police chief Deputy Superintendent Mohamad Ismail Jamaluddin said the two were known by their aliases, "Jiji", 35, and "Jimi", 36.
He said Jiji had four offences under his criminal record while Jimi had two.
"Police have searched for the suspects at their respective homes but they were not there. We suspect both men have gone into hiding somewhere in the district," he said.
The suspects were believed to have grievously injured Roslaidi Arifin, 42, following an argument over the missing bird.
The victim suffered slash wounds to his head, knees and legs in the 4pm incident.
Police have yet to identify the third suspect.
Meanwhile, police are looking for two men whom they believe can shed some light into the incident. They are Mohamad Fairu Azizi Nawi, 35, and Muhammad Azmi Abdul Aziz,
