On Friday, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said there was an investigation following a report filed by business tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan regarding an alleged defamatory article titled 'Malaysia Mulls Casino at Forest City: Bloomberg'.
The investigation was initiated after the article was claimed to contain false, baseless, and unverified statements. The investigation is under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act, Section 500 of the Penal Code, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
