PETALING JAYA: Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin's paternal grandparents are likely to be released today on bail.
However, Counsel Fahmi Abd Moin said he was uncertain when they would be brought to court.
"I am not sure what time they will be brought to court. As of now, I am representing both grandparents. At present, I am representing both grandparents," he said at the Petaling Jaya Court Complex.
He said the police arrested them at their home in Subang Bestari, after returning from the court complex yesterday.
"They were detained to assist in the investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code," he added.
