KL City Hall cracks down on foreign vendors in Bukit Bintang [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall has confiscated stalls and other items and removed barriers erected by foreign nationals around Jalan Alor in Bukit Bintang here on Wednesday (July 24).

In the operation, personnel from its Enforcement Department in the Bukit Bintang branch office and the Licensing and Business Development Department took action on the spot against 16 violators under the Small Violator Licensing Act (WPKL) 2016

"Around 15 foreign vendors were found operating without a business licence, while one Malaysian citizen was issued a notice under the Road, Drainage and Building Act 1974," it said in a Facebook post today.

The items seized in the operation were transported to the City Hall depot in Jalan Lombong, Taman Miharja, Cheras.
