SUBANG JAYA: A couple was arrested while riding a stolen motorcycle here yesterday.
They were detained by police at a petrol station along the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas).
Subang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said that in the 3am incident, a patrol unit on duty spotted a man and a woman suspiciously riding a Yamaha Lagenda motorcycle.
He said that a check through the police's MCAD system on the motorcycle's registration number revealed that it had been reported stolen in a case in Pandamaran, Klang.
"The suspects were arrested, and the motorcycle was seized before being taken to the Subang Jaya district police headquarters for further investigation.
"The police urges the public to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station immediately," he said today.
