SEPANG: A man who was trapped under a taxi after being hit by the vehicle while inspecting his car has died.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the victim, Abd Ghani Abd Karim, a permanent resident of Cambodian descent, worked as an e-hailing driver.
He said the victim was confirmed dead by Health Ministry officials.
Earlier, it was reported that the man was involved in an accident near Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 2.
The accident involved three cars, and Fire and Rescue Department personnel found him trapped under the taxi unconscious.
