KUALA LUMPUR: The police have 39 more welfare homes under GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) on their radar as the probe into the company over alleged child exploitation and abuse continues.
"The 39 welfare homes are all over the country," Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain told the New Straits Times.
Razarudin did not rule out the possibility of further action by the police, following the raid on 20 GISBH-linked homes on Wednesday.
The raids saw 402 children aged one to 17 being rescued from alleged exploitation and abuse.
Then, Razarudin said the victims, had endured various forms of exploitation and abuse including being sodomised.
He also said initial investigations revealed that caretakers also taught the children to sodomise other children.
GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd has since denied the allegations and any connection to the case.
