PETALING JAYA: A man, believed to have been repeatedly stabbed by a suspected robber, was found dead at an apartment in Bandar Sri Damansara here recently.
Sources said the victim, in his 30s, was believed to have struggled with the suspect, based on neighbours hearing screams coming from the victim's house.
"There were neighbours who heard screams coming from the victim's house.
"However, they did not suspect anything bad had happened until the victim was not seen for two days.
"They then sought the assistance of the Fire and Rescue Department to break down the door of the victim's unit," the sources said.
Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Jaafar, when contacted, confirmed the case and that an official statement would be released soon.
