SABAK BERNAM: A security guard was found dead in the trunk of a car near Jalan Pasir, Taman Pertama, yesterday.
Sabak Bernam District Police Chief Superintendent Robin Guha Thakurta said police received a report from a Mobile Patrol Vehicle (MPV) member at 6.04 pm of a suspiciously parked black Proton Saga BLM.
"Upon inspection, they discovered an unconscious man in the car's trunk," he said in a statement.
Initial investigations identified the 43-year-old victim as a security guard who works in the district.
Forensic analysis by the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters revealed signs of foul play.
"The police have launched a murder investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code," he added.
