KUALA LUMPUR: Three suspects linked to Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB) will be charged at the Seremban Sessions Court today.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the three men, all aged between 20 and 22 will be charged under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
"We received orders from the Attorney-General's Chambers to charge the three suspects for alleged sexual abuse of children from homes linked to GISB.
"The three are among those arrested in the recent Op Global in Negri Sembilan," he told the New Straits Times.
The first suspect, a 21-year-old man faces five charges under Section 14 (a) and (b). The second suspect, age 20 faces six charged under Section 14 (a), and the third suspect, 22, faces three charges under Section 14 (a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 (792 Act).
Razarudin said the three of them will be charged at the Seremban Sessions Court at 8.30am.
Yesterday, a member of GISB was charged at the Putrajaya magistrate's court with threathening a woman to withdraw a police report lodged against the company.
Mohamad Riza Makar, 39, pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to him by the court interpreter before Magistrate Ahmad Afiq Hasan.
