KOTA BELUD: The public was shocked this morning when a man's body was discovered in a commercial building here.
The deceased, a 24-year-old Filipino man, was found by members of the public, who then contacted the district police station here around 5am.
District police chief superintendent Shahrudin Mat Husain said the man was found unconscious.
"The victim was confirmed dead by medical officers from Kota Belud Hospital after an examination was conducted at the scene.
"Further investigation at the scene indicates no criminal elements were involved," he said today (Sept 24).
"The case has been classified as a sudden death report."
