KOTA BARU: A bomoh, in his 50s, has been arrested for outraging the modesty of his patient in Melor.
District police chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Rosdi Daud said a report on the case was received at 9.20am on Monday.
"Following the report, police carried out checks which revealed that the incident took place at a house in Melor about 8pm on Sunday.
"The suspect has turned the house into a traditional treatment centre.
"He was alleged to have molested the victim, in her 20s, while giving treatment to her," he said in a statement.
The suspect was detained at 4pm yesterday, with a remand order for three days to assist investigations.
The case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code,
