MIRI: A man, 68, collapsed and died while attending a trial at the Native Court in the Baitulmal Miri building here on Friday.
According to 'The Borneo Post' newspaper, district police chief Assistant Commissioner Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed the incident, stating that the man lost consciousness during the proceedings, which involved a land dispute, at 10am.
"This case is being investigated as sudden death," he said, adding that the public should refrain from speculating on the matter.
