PUTRAJAYA: FashionValet founders Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband, Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar, are expected to return to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters today.
The couple are scheduled to arrive at 9am to give their statements as part of the graft buster's probe into RM43.9 million in losses suffered by Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) in their investments in FashionValet.
It is understood that this is the fourth consecutive day the couple has been asked to give their statements to the MACC.
MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said they have identified suspicious transactions involving a company linked to the FashionValet founders and other parties under investigation between 2018 and 2023.
MACC has seized 60 boxes of documents from FashionValet, Khazanah and PNB as part of its probe. These documents are being reviewed by MACC's forensic accounting division.
On Wednesday, MACC searched the couple's residence and seized 11 luxury handbags and a luxury watch, valued collectively at around RM200,000.
Additionally, the MACC has frozen several personal and company bank accounts belonging to the founders involved, with the accounts holding around RM1.1 million.
The case is being investigated under Section 18 of the MACC Act for documents, including receipts and invoices, that contain false information.
