Police seek public help to find missing woman in Shah Alam

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are appealing for public assistance in locating a woman reported missing from Section 17, Shah Alam.

Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim, in a statement, said the missing person, identified as Junaida Abdul Rahim, 42, was last seen leaving her house on Friday morning.

He said she was last seen leaving her place at Residensi Jalan Terubuk Tiga, Section 17, on Nov 15 at approximately 11am.

"Junaida is described as 160cm tall, weighing 54 kg, with a fair complexion.

"She was last seen wearing a head scarf.

"Her disappearance was reported by her elder sister in the early hours of yesterday.

"She has yet to return home and was not present at her workplace.

"She is also unreachable," he said in a statement.

He said police have received three reports so far, namely, from her coworker, housemate, and family members.

"We urge anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact investigating officer Inspector Mohd Shahrul Bakhri at 012-363 0512," Iqbal said.
