SHAH ALAM: Junaida Abdul Rahim, missing from Shah Alam since Friday, has been found safe.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said late last night they received information from one of her family members that she was in Kuantan, Pahang.
"She is expected to come back today and will meet with the investigating officer to have a statement recorded," he said when contacted today.
He said they would know more once police speak to her.
Mohd Iqbal said the woman had left the house in a Mitsubishi Triton pick-up truck.
"The vehicle was found near a condominium along Jalan Ampang on Tuesday," he said.
He confirmed that three reports had been lodged involving the woman's sister, work colleague, and housemate respectively.
Police had appealed for public assistance in locating Junaida, 42 who was last seen leaving her house at Section 17, Shah Alam, on Friday morning.
Junaida was described as 160cm tall, weighing 54 kg, with a fair complexion.
