JOHOR BARU: A 40-year-old man was found dead in his printing shop in Taman Bistari Indah, Ulu Tiram, after his Indonesian girlfriend, worried about two days of silence, went looking for him today.
Johor Baru (South) police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat, who confirmed the incident, said the case had been classified as sudden death, as there were no signs of foul play.
"His 32-year-old girlfriend, who grew concerned after not hearing from him for two days, found the body in the printing shop lot that he stayed alone and alerted police at 12.30pm today.
"A post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow at the Sultan Ismail Hospital.
"However, there were no elements of foul play in our preliminary investigations," he said.
