JOHOR BARU: Enforcement officers from the Johor Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry seized RM11,768 counterfeit apparel in four stores operating from a shopping complex here on Monday.
Its director Lilis Saslinda Pornomo said the raids were made following tip-offs and complaints from the public.
The officers seized 1,479 articles of counterfeit clothing from various brands including Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Nike, Lacoste, Puma, and Levis.
Three men who worked at the stores were detained for further investigation.
Lilis Saslinda said the four stores are investigated under Section 102(1)(c) of the Trademarks Act 2019 for possession, custody, or control of counterfeit goods for trade purposes.
