"Urine tests revealed that all suspects tested positive for four types of drugs, including methamphetamine," he said at a press conference held at the Kota Kinabalu IPD today.
The police raid was conducted last week.
Kasim said investigations revealed that the suspects only met recently met before organising the drug party at the rented condominium.
The arrests of the nine individuals were part of the 23 drug offenders detained by police at the Kota Kinabalu contingent during daily operations to combat drug abuse in the district.
Kasim also said that the Kota Kinabalu IPD has deployed 25 task force teams to conduct operations throughout the Christmas celebrations since the beginning of the month.
These task force teams will also operate during New Year's Eve celebrations and the Jom Heboh carnival at the end of the month to ensure public safety.
