KUALA LUMPUR: The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) has issued 105 notices on a construction project in the Klang Valley in an integrated enforcement operation from the CIDB headquarters.
Enforcement division general manager Suhaimi Mansor who headed the operation said all notices involved construction personnel registration, accreditation and training.
He said 230 workers of various nationalities were screened and 27 of them were found holding false construction personnel accreditation cards.
Suhaimi said CIDB had recorded three statements and lodged a police report to facilitate investigations. "The investigations involved a proposed mixed development project under Phase 1 comprising one eight-storey block for office, car park and shops," he said in a statement here.
Besides the false cards, CIDB also seized 23 documents to facilitate investigations under the CIDB Act 1994. – Bernama
