PASIR PUTEH: Malaysians of all races and creeds should join Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in a pro-Palestine rally in Putrajaya on Friday.
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Senator Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said the rakyat should cast aside their political differences and show solidarity with Palestine, and protest against the United States’ recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
“The issue of Palestine is a big thing, because it violates international laws, making it difficult for the ongoing peace process,” Asyraf said.
Najib, Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and various non-governmental organisations are expected to attend the rally after Friday prayers at Masjid Putra. – BERNAMA
