KUALA LUMPUR: More than 100,000 motorists of all classes of vehicles will be enjoying a toll-free ride on the KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR Expressway) from 8 am to 5 pm on May 9 in conjunction with the 14th General Election (GE14).
LATAR Expressway managing director, Datuk Mohamed Raffe Chekku in a statement today said the offer made was to accommodate the travel of motorists for the voting exercise on the election day.
“The LATAR Expressway is a gateway not only to small towns on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia but also to other townships such as Selayang, Rawang, Shah Alam, Sg Buloh and many more.
“Our operation teams are ever ready to monitor the traffic movement on the day. On top of that, our Touch’ n Go reload lanes are still on 24-hour operation” he said in a statement today.
