KUALA PILAH: "We (PKR) applaud Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan's (Tok Mat) leadership before this and we will make it better," said newly appointed Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun at his first press conference held at the Seri Menanti Resort here, today.
Aminuddin said, in order to achieve that, he will form the new state executive councillor line-up and it is expected to match the portfolio of the previous Barisan Nasional (BN) state government.
He said the matter will be discussed soon, adding that Pakatan Harapan (PH) will also help the Opposition assemblymen in the state for the good of the rakyat.
In related development, Aminuddin who is also Negeri Sembilan PH chairman said the new government will continue with the policies already in place if it benefits the people, including the implementation of the Lembah Wawasan Malaysia (MVV) and the declaration of Seremban Municipal Council (MPS) as a city.
"The new state government will not disturb street business operators as long as they maintain cleanliness. What is important is that PKR fulfills the manifesto it has promised in this state," he said.
Aminuddin added that the new government will also reopen investigations on several corruption cases and will work with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), including the digging up of cases that are 20 years old.
