Police emerge with seized items from Najib's Pavilion residence

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have emerged from the Pavilion Residences apartments, bearing boxes of what appear to be documents, as well as several items from the private residence of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

The items are believed to be linked to police's search of the apartment, which began around 10pm last night.

As of 3am, several policemen were seen exiting the building with the seized items.

The police operation earlier began at Najib's residence in Jalan Langgak Duta, Taman Duta when more than 15 police vehicles as well as a truck entered the residence at 10.15am.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department director, Datuk Seri Amar Singh, had earlier confirmed that police were conducting a search of the home.

Police however have remained tight-lipped over the nature of the investigation.
