IPOH: The Works Ministry will give priority to the construction of the Seri Iskandar Hospital, located about 40 kilometres from here, as it would benefit the people, said Minister Baru Bian.
During the current challenging financial situation, he said the ministry would prioritise several projects by the previous government, especially the ones that would enable the people to improve their livelihood.
“I am ready for any comments and suggestions on some of the priority projects given to the state government but have been suspended,” he told reporters after paying a courtesy call on Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu at the Perak Darul Ridzuan Building here today.
He said the ministry would also discuss some of the development projects that needed to be continued and carried out, not only in Perak but also throughout the country.
“If the projects are critical and need to be continued, we will discuss again with the Economic Planning Unit and the Ministry of Finance to find ways to continue the projects,” he said.
