CAMERON HIGHLANDS: Barisan Nasional has been accused of playing up racial sentiments to win the Cameron Highlands by-election.
Vanquished Pakatan Harapan candidate M. Manogaran, however, said he would not blame voters who were influenced by BN's campaign.
"BN had played up racial issues (but) I do not blame the voters. This (instead) makes us stronger because we look beyond race and religion in our campaign," Manogaran said during a press conference here today.
Manogaran said he would continue to serve the people of Cameron Highlands and thanked those who had assisted PH's campaign.
"We need to continue rendering our assistance to the locals here. I am committed to helping the government develop Cameron Highlands."
