KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic is moving smoothly on all major highways nationwide, as of 10am today.
The volume of vehicles is reportedly low on the North-South Expressway (NSE), the North-South Expressway Central Link (Elite), the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link Expressway (Linkedua), the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE) and the Penang Bridge.
“However, an accident at Km81 (northbound) from Gurun to Pendang in Kedah is causing congestion,” said a Plus Malaysia Berhad spokesman.
Traffic flow on the East Coast Expressways 1 & 2 (LPT 1 & 2) in both directions is also reportedly smooth, a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said.
