This just in: Bersatu, out

KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has officially left the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.

This was announced by party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in a press statement this afternoon.

He informed that this decision was reached at the party's Supreme Council meeting held yesterday.

"With that, all members of Parliament from Bersatu have left Pakatan Harapan.

"They have all signed Statutory Declarations (SD) to support Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the prime minister of Malaysia.

"This decision was made after taking into account the current political climate and the country's future," he said.
