KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is expected to deliver a special address on Covid-19 tonight.
Scheduled at 9pm, the address will be telecast live by RTM, TV3, Bernama and Astro Awani.
Earlier, Muhyiddin chaired a special meeting on Covid-19 at the Prime Minister’s Office here.
The meeting, which began at 3pm, was attended by his newly-minted ministers.
The address followed the World Health Organisation's (WHO) announcement on Wendesday declaring Covid-19 as a pandemic.
As of yesterday, Malaysia has recorded 158 confirmed cases of the disease, 32 of whom have been discharged from hospital.
