KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who turned 73 yesterday capped the last hour of his birthday by penning an appreciative note for the blessings he has received.
The cancer survivor said he reached 73 by God's grace.
Muhyiddin also thanked the Almighty for the opportunities and blessings that he, his family, friends and Malaysians at large have enjoyed.
"May Allah grant and accept all our prayers on seeking protection from Covid-19 while also giving us strength, resilience and patience to face this challenging test.
"May he ease our struggles in finding His grace," he posted on Facebook.
He also recorded his deepest gratitude for those who wished him happy birthday and prayed for his wellbeing.
"It was impossible for me to answer all of them. Thank you once again," said Muhyiddin while referring to the numerous messages and greetings that flooded his social media pages.
"I pray that you too are given peace and prosperity and are blessed with comforts on earth and the hereafter."
He also wished for Malaysia's multiracial people to always live in love, harmony and unity.
