Boy falls into drain at Kg Pokok Simpur, dies [NSTTV]

KEPALA BATAS: A six-year-old boy died after he fell into an open drain at Kampung Pokok Simpor, here, yesterday.

A team from a nearby Fire and Rescue station rushed to the scene after receiving information that the boy, Muhammad Firash Darwisy Azlan, had accidentally slipped into the drain about 6.20pm.

A medical team at the scene pronounced that the victim had died on the spot.

The boy's remains were then taken to a nearby hospital for post mortem.
